One thing that seems to escape all discussion and demos of the truck are the power tailgate. It is listed, but rarely discussed and not ever demonstrated that I've seen. Anyone have more info on the Power Tailgate?

It’s something I don’t need tor want, more weight and complex shit to break. I would prefer if the frunk were manual on the Pro.

Yup I was going through the configurator the other day and it wasn't there for the pro.

The power-up/ -down tailgate is standard for Lariat and Platinum. Power-down only for 312A XLT. Pro and 311A XLT are manual tailgate. The power tailgate is discussed and demonstrated in the "Discover Your Ford" video below (timestamp 36:05) It can also be manually raised as demonstrated in the video due to push button not working.

Thanks for sharing - still not a good demo and when he pushed the button, there was a beep, but it didn't close. Still something interesting here that they don't demo that more I believe.

I think the 312A for the XLT is also power up/down per this screenshot I took of the option when specifying the 312A:

I hope this is true, as I would like to power up the tailgate after crawling in a camper shell to sleep (at an angle). If only the camper shell would also have a power rear window?
