A few days ago I noticed the available power gauge indicated 56% power available. That is the first time that has ever happened and it hasn't happened again. Anyone have a similar experience or know what would cause it?

What were the conditions that day. Had you been running the truck hard? Just DC Fast Charged? Just starting out on a cold-soaked battery? Lots of things might be contributing. That said, I have never seen this happen.

I have experienced this with battery temp many times, however on each occasion the battery temp gauge at the top was way down.

I’ve been experiencing it a lot lately.

I’ve already had the 12 V battery replaced because of the wrench icon (which had me scared that the big battery was the problem but thankfully not). I thought after the 12 V was replaced this would go away but it just happened again recently.

As a matter of fact, I can’t really figure out rhyme or reason to why it’s happening. It’s not always tied to ambient temperature because it’s happened when the ambient temperature was in the 40s and 50s. It happened to me last night, not at the cold start up when I left work; which is when I would logically figure it would, but I noticed it had showed up by the time I got home roughly 30 minutes later. Ambient temperature was only in the 20s, but yet you would think the battery was warm by then?

The only consistent thing that I can say about it is that my battery available power has only dropped to 90% each time. So it’s not dropping as far as yours– but it is dropping.

Truck had been sitting in the cold overnight...35° but was charging on house current before I took it for the drive.
