Have not decided yet. I did test drive a pro yesterday. It was really nice for the low cost version, but don't see me getting that version, and now the Lariat is too expensive for me I think.

I am likely priced out at this point. If Ford offered a hybrid or EV Ranger I’d switch to that in a heartbeat. BTW, ordered in the first 24 hours and still haven’t gotten my invite.

I was excited to get a full size electric truck for 40k and the price increase is a bummer but I still believe, compared to what’s in the market, it worth it. I pay over 500 in gas a month. My reservation was July last year.

I reserved on May 20th or 21st. I forget exactly. It was the day after it first opened. I had an invite to convert my reservation to an order but only the Lariat and Platinum were available to order. So I extended until 2023. My dentist just got his 2022 Platinum Lightning. It’s nice. But I hope to be able to order a Pro. If I can’t and have to go to an XLT or higher I’m out. I absolutely love my 2020 Lariat so if I can’t get what I want I won’t be too upset. Pro or nothing for me.

I'm in. Planning Lariat ER, with max tow. I'll grit my teeth and hand my money over. I just hope charge station pro still included for free; I've seen no confirmation of that and they are now charging for the portable charger.

Reserved June 19th 2021. Have always been planning to get Lariat ER +/- max tow... The price now is just too much for a pickup truck IMO. I think I may go with a plug-in hybrid vehicle for my next vehicle instead.

Would love to order a Pro version if I am lucky enough to get the invite( I ordered within first 24 hours). I am around 50'th on the list with my dealer who has more than 350 + reservations.. so will be pushed to 2024.

I don't know. I was all gung ho for this until a couple days ago. I feel as though I was lied to by omission. They could have announced that they were planning on a substantial price increase sooner, knowing they had 200,000 blue oval boys waiting in the que. Would have allowed us to make decisions moving forward. I have an mks that I use as my main driver that had over 180k on it and has become somewhat of a money pit. I might have a went a different direction and bought a different Ford sooner if I knew this spike was coming.

It's not as though it's a bad deal, but I don't like they kept radio silence for months when they knew they were going to do this. I may buy something else, I may even buy outside of Ford, something I've never done before.

It's kinda dirty to surprise hundreds of thousands of loyal owners with this kind of price spike. They'll sell them though, even if I don't buy one, it's still an F150.

So I guess I'm 50/50 on buying this. However, I am no longer holding out. If something good comes along and I haven't been invited to order I may have to cancel.

I'm undecided on if I will still order. Was originally planning to buy a Lariat ER, but now with it costing an additional 16k, I'm considering a Tundra Platinum with I-Force Max (20-24mpg). It's less than 70k.

I'm on the reservation list for the eSilverado (a year away) and the eRam (2 years away), so I guess I could hold off for one of them. Likely to end up with the same awful pricing now that Ford has set the bar. And will those even qualify for the Federal credit? I'm not sure where their batteries come from.

I have a 2015 Ram 1500 diesel right now and it's getting up there a bit, 130,000 miles. I don't really need a truck but they sure are handy at times. I'm keen on a Mach-e and the Ionic 5 but good luck getting my hands on one. And the Hyundai won't get the credit next year anyway.

It's all a bit of a mess.

I feel like I won the lottery with my $55k 2022 XLT Lighting. I just received the "your vehicle has been shipped" e-mail on Monday.

The 2023 Pro and XLT prices are still pretty fair though. Ford will easily sell every Lightning that it builds.

While I already have mine. When I went to spec what I have in the current system........listed comes out to 89k and I know there are additional taxes that I had to deal with (and forgot to expect) it would easily be about 94k for the Lariat. And yea, that's 10k over what I have. It is rough.

It is ridiculous but I'd probably still try to swing it and get it. It sucks.

I ordered in the first 12 hours, and I have not gotten an invite either.

PS Ford does make a F150 Hybrid. You have to get a Lariat or higher to order that Hybrid option though....

Tesla has, per rumors, over 1.5 million people in their queue for the CyberTruck.
The price will go up, per Elon, when it does come out. I suspect the higher trim will be around $100,000.
And the queue is so long, most people won't see their CyberTruck for 3+ years. With prices probably going up every 6 months.
