I wouldn't disagree that we have no idea what the next gen will look like from Ford, but I will note that the battery they put in the redesigned truck should not be the current battery. This battery and design is already at least 3 to 4 years old. They should have some changes, chemistry, design, etc for the new truck.

I agree completely. Ford has already indicated a plan to switch some of their packs to LiFePO.

That should have been LiFePO or LFP. Using Polonium might mean you'd never have to precondition the battery.
