I recently picked up my Lightning and was worried I may have chosen the wrong white color for me. So I went back to the dealer to compare the two colors. Both trucks were in the same light and next to each other. This is what I saw:

Star White is more of a rich yellowish, almost ivory white. It has a deep gloss, has small pearly flakes in it, and is off-white.

Oxford White is a bright white, with an almost blue hue. It has a more muted gloss and it is pure white.

See the photos below, although they are hi-res, they still don't fully show the beauty of both colors. I bought the Oxford White, and I am happy to have make the eye to eye test, because I chose correctly, for me. I wanted a pure white. I can see how some people may like the Star White, but it is not the color for me.

Great comparison of the two. What other colors were you considering? Oxford White seems to be what Ford used on many of the early prototypes, like this one:

I was considering both Whites, Iced Blue, Iconic Silver, and Carbonized Grey. I've had Silver, Blue, Yellow (yes, but it was a classic), and White vehicles in the past.

I chose Oxford White for these reasons:
- I have never gotten tired of white on any vehicle
- White hides dirt the best
- It is easiest to sell
- It looks amazing when clean. Most of them do, but I love how sharp it looks.
- I almost got the Iced Blue, but I have had had Blue before, and after a year, I was over it. It was hard to sell.

Thanks. It's the best vehicle I've ever owned. I absolutely love driving it. I love being inside it. I love the features. The most surprising things about it are the speed and the sheer comfort. It is a luxury vehicle wrapped up into a sports truck.
