In different parts of January my ordered SR XLT will arrive and a separate dealer's SR XLT mannequin will come available. I am having a hard time deciding if it is worth ~$7k to purchase the mannequin rather than taking delivery of my order (both will be sold at respective years' MSRP). My order: 2023 antimatter blue with max tow and pro power. Mannequin: 2022 in carbonized gray with pro power and ~4k miles. I have read through several of the other threads involving mannequins and some of the pitfalls, including Bad delivery experience and Buying a mannequin. I like both colors and am having a hard time deciding if the money saved now is worth A) the hard miles others have put on the truck, 2) loss of max tow which in my case is more for extra cooling in a hot environment for battery longevity and not so much for actual towing, and D) the loss of heated seats since those are standard on 23 but were not included on 22. Any thoughts on why you would go one way or the other would be appreciated.

If you have an XLT on order, weren’t you part of wave 1 or 2 for 2023? Do you have the private offer?

I was on wave 3 with a September order date.

Max tower provides a second, independent cooling loop. That will really help the battery in the long run.
