Hello all!

I just received the invitation to build my 2023 Lariat, which comes standard with the "Co-Pilot Assist 2.0." While building, I noticed the "Tow Technology Package" is $1,395 and the upgraded "Ford Co-Pilot Active 2.0" is $2,220. If selecting these two options, it adds a total of $3,615 to the build.

However, if neither of the two options are selected, you can select the "Ford Co-Pilot Active 2.0 with Tow Technology" package for a net price increase of $745. The difference being $2,870! This option removes the weight scale and smart hitch. Am I missing something or is this a glitch on the order page?

My order has been submitted but dealer has yet to receive order. Thank you in advance.

Those parts of the Tow Tech package are unavailable due to the chip shortage. Scales and Smart Hitch have been unavailable since August Order Guide. One poster here just posted that the Co-Pilot Assist 2.0 is now being deleted, see below. I haven't seen the September Order Guide, but it's probably noted on the first page of the guide.

Delete "options" (Option 63X) are mandatory to place the order.

Thank you for the link. I thought I was getting a steal upgrading to the Active 2.0 as I really didn't need the smart hitch or weight sensors. Either way, I will have to wait until Monday for the dealership to accept my order.

I had the same glitch and spent quite a while with my dealer to try and work through it. She was saying on her end that as soon as she added that, it tacked on another $2,200 although thats not what the website was showing for me... It was a big issue because it pushed the truck over the 80k mark (therefore ineligible for the tax credit). My dealer told me the the Active 2.0 was included with the 511a and that it wasn't an issue. Although NOW when I look at the website I see the glitch was fixed and both options are an additional $2,200... which leaves me wondering what I ended up with?

Update... Firstly, my dealer has been great. They are charging MSRP, have atually answered all my questions and have been super responsive. Quite a pleasant experience with them. If anyone is looking to change their dealer, Arundel Ford in Maine is the place to go!

Ford on the other hand has moved the goal posts at the last second. I put in my order form trying to stay under the 80K mark in order to stay eligible for the tax Credit. So my build was the standard Lariat, with AT tires, Bed liner, and the tow packages. The single biggest driver to upgrade to the Lariat over the XLT was the option to get blue cruise. And as Vin said above, there was quite a good deal on it when it was coupled with the Tow Package (an item that was a must for me anyways).

So I placed my order, which I have attached that form, and paid my deposit. Then when confirming the order with the Dealer, we absolutely could not arrive at the same price... Ford either had a glitch or changed the pricing on the Blue Cruise. So now there is no way to get the truck under the 80k Mark and have blue cruise and the towing packages.

Maybe I am being greedy, but this is how the website has been for months... how I ordered the truck... and the build I paid my order (not reservation) Deposit on... only to have Ford change the price when the dealer was confirming the build.

I have always have had a ford truck... but fool me twice.

I am in a similar position where my extended range Lariat MSRP went from $77k to $87k with the 2022 model year ordered vehicles slipping into 2023. The private offer and reduction of $8500 is called a rebate and doesn’t affect the MSRP in any of the paperwork and seems I risk losing the $7500 tax credit I was counting on. Anyone figure out a way around that?

You have some options checked on the larger image that are easily replaced or substituted after the sale like mats, mobile charger (ridiculous @ $500), AT tires, and bed liner. I can't tell if they are still on the order, I can't read the smaller image. Were they removed?

I don't think so. I lost $1500 from NY because the Pro is over $42k on the window sticker and the private offer doesn't matter.
