Got a new email today, Dec 28, from my local Ford dealer stating that I would get an email from Ford directly letting me know what my order date would be or the year I could place my order. The dealer also said that I would get this information from Ford before they did. Has anyone else gotten this notification? I placed my reservation on the first day, thanks!

Glad to hear they are starting to communicate something about the Lightning.

So that is true, the order banks are opening sometime in January (they haven't told us when yet) and they will be doing the orders in "waves". Hopefully we will get trained on what that means to help our customers. Our dealership has 375 reservations, and we are barely keeping up with letting everyone know!!!

My dealer said 2nd week of Jan when they called me and said I will have one of their 25 they get.

The 25 that people are talking about, is that dealers who had over 100 reservations, they could allocate the top 25 sports to their most "loyal and important" customers. So dealers did do that. The lower the reservations a store had, it went to 10 or 5.

Yes. To quote Ford’s instructions to dealers:
“Dealers with <50 Reservations = 5 prioritizations available, 50-100 Reservations = 10 prioritizations available, & >100 Reservations = 25 prioritizations available”
