Is it possible to make changes to your order? I ordered online with a 5/16 build date. I’d like to remove power steps, what’s the best way to do this?

Call your dealer. If you are scheduled with a build date, there is a chance they were already removed anyway. Ford has said they will not be available for 2022.

My dealer told me they weren’t sure they could change it.

There's folks on here that are going to be jealous because they didn't order them fearing production delay.

I have them on my wife’s Yukon Denali and when you have kids and quickly open and close the doors they get pretty annoying.
