The ‘22 Pro versus XLT Id 100% agree I wanted the Pro because the front signature led hood light and extended running boards you can buy after market and prefer vinyl over cloth seats due to kids making a mess, but a buddy of mine showed me the premium cloth seats which settled my worries about stains and also I’d rather not stick to the vinyl seats on a hot day. Also, there are further additions for the ‘23 XLT other than the signature front LED and black extended running boards like Heated Front Seats, interior work surface, rear under seat storage, 8 way power seat, leather wrapped steering wheel, boxlink and enhanced zone lighting in the base XLT compared to base Pro. Another benefit is not having to wait another year to “possibly” get the Pro. I was really disappointed to miss the first wave after I was in wave 2 earlier this year and extended my reservation for a Pro but learned from my mistakes and got more features out of the XLT which “should” be in by end of ‘22 but obviously that’s a person preferenceSo you don’t have to be commercial business owner to buy the Pro?
i just need a basic truck that gets me from A to B. I wanted the running boards and was just going to get that aftermarket. I didn’t think it was worth the $12k extra to go from Pro to XLT just for the running boards. Plus I thought vinyl seats in the Pro were better than cloth seats in the XLT anyways. Anyone else think the base XLT is worth the extra $12k?
I had the same thing happen both times when I could order in wave 2 January 2022 for MY22 and wave 2 a few weeks ago for the MY23. It lets you build it and everything but it just doesn’t let you press “continue” on that summary page you screenshot to pay the $1,000 deposit to finalize your order. The dealer won’t get it either until you place the order and pay the additional deposit. I called them on that same page both times and said they couldn’t see it. Ford also confirmed it wasn’t available in Wave 2.So I got my email to order today and say that the Pro is not available to order online. However, I went through the whole build and it allowed me to do the Pro?? I was on the last page to order, but was hesitant to finalize until I talk to my dealer tomorrow. It says $53k msrp
