I am somewhat relieved that my order was delayed. It seems that all of the negatives finally outweighed the benefits for me. My Lariet ER was finally scheduled for production in March but with the loss of tax incentives, dramatic price increase and plunge in resale and retail value I just couldn’t do it. I canceled my order yesterday and the Ram Revolution ordering opened today. Karma! I’ve always been a Mopar guy anyway. So now I wait until 2024.

Wow. Looks like RAM is having fun with that thing - from the tailgate to the side storage to the midgate. Didn't see anything about self-driving though it was following a guy through a hanger...

First EV I haven't reserved, but can't wait to see it.

Meantime, I'll be driving the granddaddy of EV trucks, which can only boast of the frunk.

That Ram looks wicked cool. But in time, the same cycle of buyers regret will ensue in the months after it’s over-hyped release (just like the Lightning). Google “ déjà vu”

The Ram Revolution is touted as being available in the series hybrid configuration. This is a very attractive concept to me, especially for those needing more range for things like towing. You aren't always towing, and so for shorter trips, all electric. A small diesel auxiliary generator for towing and longer trips. The appeal is obvious. I believe the first company to get this right will be sitting on a gold mine.

I'm not 100% convinced that is going to be Stalantis. If you would like to track their current efforts I recommend joining the 4xe forums. It will give us an idea of how that company is progressing with that technology.

I don't follow those groups religiously, but it appears they are doing okay. Certainly some growing pains, but to be expected.
