Hey folks 👋

Ontario, Canada. Got on the reservation list 12/4/2021.

Haven't been contacted by the dealer, but I imagine I have 3 years+ to wait as I'm at the very end of the reservation list.

Haven't owned a truck before, but always loved the practicality and regularly found myself renting one.

Currently driving a Audi Q7, but ordered a new F150 Lariat (4x4 SuperCrew), which should arrive in April/May. I figure I'll drive that for 2-3 years, then I'll have a good idea if I want to continue driving a trunk or not by the time my Lightning is ready.

I've been wanting to switch to electric for several years now, however there wasn't anything that made sense for me. I have two dogs that I take hiking in the woods daily, as well as a toddler in a car seat. So nothing electric was big enough for me to fit everyone in. With the large half of the backseat folded up, that will give me enough room for the dogs, so the Lightning seems like a good choice.

I put a deposit down on the Silverado EV as well, just because.... But I find the front end of that one FUGLY :ROFLMAO: The esitmated range on it is nicer (650km), though I'm eagerly anticipating real-world mileage without a payload for the lightning.

Probably be a 2024 but if you are lucky a 2023:
