So, as many know, we are a week away from wave 4. So, let's see your unrealistic optimism posts! Have at it!

For me, really glad some of the lower end model sold out hoping this is preventing some conversions giving me a shot with my morning May 20th reservation. I have my fingers officially crossed!

My wishes for Wave-4 folks (as well 5 & 6)

If the dealer you reserved with is now identified as an ADM gouger, prepare yourself to be ready to select an alternate dealer at the beginning or your web-build.

If not already in the next week or so make personal contact with the NO-ADM dealers near you, get to know everything about them, are they really going to stick to what they say they will do?

DO NOT trust the numbers on the web builder regarding projected ADM, most of them are showing ZERO on purpose as a deceptive trade practice, have ZERO confidence in the ZERO value talk to your prospective dealers, know their plan!!

to Tag on to twxmanhog, you have one shot to place an order, once you do, your contract is with the dealer. Be as I nformed as you can going in, because once you sign with the dealer, (as far as I am aware) fomoco can’t do anything about it.

I’ve got a legit chance this wave. Dealer has said no ADM multiple times but a lot of the wave 1-3 feedback seems to say not to trust that. Anyone have an example of any document you signed with the dealership to give you a warm fuzzy that they won’t try anything shady?
I got military move orders for this summer. Willing to stick with old dealership and fly out to pick up the truck if I can remain confident that they won’t try to rake me over the coals after ordering. Otherwise I’m willing to threaten to move to a dealership near the new home after the email but before ordering. I plan to build on the website but physically go into the dealership before hitting the button. I’m not going to pay ADM and travel out to pick it up. I will rob them of the allocation and move dealers.

You got it on lockdown dude. Do exactly that. If they slap ADM on just transfer and give a non-ADM dealership your money. Once you have the signed purchase agreement you're good. If they try to play games after that sic Ford moco on them.

I told myself I was going to push off my expectations till wave 6, but that really hasn’t happened. I’m really hoping tomorrow I get to replace anxiety and obsession With empathy for those unforunate few who haven’t been called

Somebody posted a screenshot of the order form showing Platinum sold out. I was surprised at first but then realized a lot of people can afford a $90,000 truck, especially when state and Fed incentives can knock $10K or more off the price.

I just talked with the lightning team (I hope they aren’t getting sick of me). She said the pros were sold out, said the platinums were getting close, but she hadn’t heard anything about the platinums or xlts being sold out. Big thing was about transferring the reservation, I still don’t entirely understand the process, but if you are going to change dealers, you want to do it before you get your invitation.
And she did say that the penalty’s for dealers charging over MSRP are real and stiff, and ultimately, if you are a potential customer, you may feel the brunt because they will take allocation away from the dealership, meaning if you are on their line, they won’t get any trucks And you’ll be standing there waiting Forever. but wave 4 hasn’t officially gone out, so if you are going to change you want to do it before you get the invitatipn.

Since I plan to buy a Lariat w an ER battery I view the potential ‘sold out’ messages as beneficial. Means more folks who (might) defer to next year, opening up slots for meeeeeeee!
