I replaced the factory running boards on my ER Lariat. I’m selling them for $300 OBO plus shipping or local pickup in Upstate SC.

Ok cool, no issue with fitment and they deploy and retract like normal?AMP Power Steps
I guess one last question: did you do the install yourself or take it to a shop? The motor on the driver’s side is very tight but once it’s bolted in place there are no issues.
Nice! Thanks for sharing! ... I definitely will be doing this as well. I was bummed it was not an option!I did it myself in about 4 hours. The local truck accessory store wanted $600 to install them.
I bet they were comparing against previous fixed running boards? My current retractable power runningboards that I have on my 2018 F150… they fold completely out of the way of the air…🤔Ford bragged about making the stock running boards part of thier improved aero package:
"Ford says the F-150 Lightning is actually the most aerodynamically-slippery in the model's history. That includes new running board shapes, different sculpting for the hood, and grilles that blank out unnecessary cooling vents to help cut drag." I would be interested to know if you notice any hit to the efficiency on the freeway by un-doing Ford's work in that area.
Pockets and voids create turbulence. Air dams and skirts along the sides of vehicles help streamline the vehicle through the air. Not to say that the aftermarket has not improved upon Ford's hard work, hence my question to those that are changing it to see if there is any noticeable difference.I bet they were comparing against previous fixed running boards? Freeway, or? Aerodynamics aren't going to be noticed much unless you do extended freeway running.I only changed them yesterday, so today was my only chance to gauge if there’s a difference in range. I drove a 35 mile round trip that I drive regularly and the consumption was .1 kWh better than usual. I’ll have to continue to monitor it to see if it was a one off or a true improvement.
Do you know where you are kWh at these stated driving conditions?About 95% freeway averaging about 74 mph.
