By the way, its a glitch. Still can't order.
Check your spam for the email from Ford.Interesting to see your post. I got one email telling me that the order was delayed. That seems to be expected for the current car-buying environment, so i really wasn't surprised.
Then I started getting the "install a charger" emails and assumed a glitch in their mailer. Today I logged in at Ford.com, and it says that I've got a production date set for the week of May 2nd?!?!?
That would be great! That said, I never got the email that said I had been scheduled, so I'm wondering if the website is actually reflecting reality.....

Yeah… I got an apology email A couple days after the first one. Then last week I got another “get ready for your Lightning“ email to get me excited all over again. No apology this time from Ford.I keep getting emails like this and every time I'm like "Heck yea it's time" and then it's like "Nooo not another misleading email title"
