I ordered my Lightning (11/15/22) and after the dealer accepted the order, I was told that I would not get a variety of different options, including a heated steering wheel. OK it does not sound like a big deal, but I have been driving the Mach e for over a year and a heated steering wheel is a big deal in a BEV period..

So forum members, will I get a heated steering wheel upon my build date, whenever that may happen?

My priority code is 19.......I don't think that is a good number, any guesses as to when I will see my new truck?

Thanks!

Which models come with heated steering wheel? I just ordered a Lariat and assumed it has heated seats and steering wheel. For close to $90k it better come with both - even if not included at delivery due to chip shortages.

I think all 2023 models have standard heated steering wheels now that they made them standard equipment on the Pro for range number enhancement. Standard, but now deleted for a $140 credit due to part shortages. I agree that it's a big deal to delete them.

I have a question about heated steering wheel perhaps you guys can answer. I have a 2022 XLT. It does not have the heated steering wheel, I bought a manakin, so had no choice. Can that be added to my truck? When parts become available is the truck able to just add that to it. I have arthritis and cold steering wheel is pure agony in the winter. Thanks

I don't think there is a definitive answer to this. You see both answers by folks who seem to know what they are talking about. No one seems to know if the heating element was retained in the steering wheels that were installed which would clearly be necessary to make it work later.
