I'm a Farm Bureau member and as such receive a $500 discount on ford f150 f250 etc.

Just read Farm Bureau and Ford have partnered to EXCLUDE f150 lightning from the discount.

It appears Farm Bureau does not support trucks that don't run on corn fuel.

That makes $8000 in rebates I was expecting and now won't get. This truck is looking more like a non starter to me.

Seems like there is more to it than just the Lightning. The maverick and the f150 both have hybrids. And they are excluding the Raptor, 650 and the 750

So for you to get ONLY $7,500 back instead of $8,000 is a " deal breaker???
And that's only if you one the lucky ones who placed the order and getting the Lightning this year, otherwise your will even get the tax credit as well.

That's 80500 usd. Not sure what model were talking about but lariet xr in states is 85000.
Tax in the states varies but I'm expecting about seven percent.
So about the same overall.

I am not a fan of the US ev tax credit because not every citizen can get it, it's practically a lottery. Similar thing happened years ago for first time home buyers, missed that one too. Farm Bureau has a discount on Sherwin Williams paint. I bought a bunch of automotive paint and they refused to honor the discount. I'm not eligible x,y,z plan pricing. Just frustrated about seeming to never be the lucky one. I suppose I could buy an ICE and get my 500 off.
