My fordpass app has said I have an ota update available but need to schedule the update on the sync 4a screen. I go into the software update tab and it doesn't give me the options for scheduling updates or turning automatic updates on or off. Did a hard reset and sync reboot and nothing changed. Any suggestions? Ford tech support has no answers.

Hopefully the truck will update this week. Keep it plugged in when you’re not driving it and make site the truck is connected to your WiFi. Ford generally doesn’t push updates during the holidays.

On the main screen next to the truck icon, to the right you should see another icon with a down arrow pointing to a line. Make sure you are in park and click on that icon. That should give you the latest power up.

That icon is only present if you have a PowerUp downloaded and ready to install.
