It looks like Android Auto got an update.

I got the 4.1.3 update yesterday. Today when I got in my truck I noticed that Android Auto user interface was different.

Interesting. Can you choose/dismiss the tiles? Are they dynamic/fixed/just what was recent?

I just go 4.1.1 So I think I'll be waiting a while for this

The Weather/Music? Yes, you can make the maps full screen. I don't think I've figured out how to change the weather to something else.

The bottom Maps/Music/Phone/Settings? No. There is recent apps that get added but disappear after you cycle through other apps.

Android Auto user interface doesn't have anything to do with Ford's updates. You just received the latest update and it happened to coincide with when you received the Ford update.

so if I press an icon and it is non-responsive - like hanging up a phone, is that an android auto bug or ford bug?

I just got this update to Android auto, and it's so much worse than it was before. Mostly just that the map is persistent and other apps can only ever have the lower half of the screen. Sometimes I like having other things be full screen, like gamesnacks when charging.

If someone knows how to hid the map and I'm just being dumb, please share the how to...
