Ram has released a new teaser video for the 1500 EV and according to their tweet they're looking to "steal some thunder". I wonder who that could be referring to lol.
I'm sure as we get closer to the reveals there's going to be some puns sent towards the other EV trucks. Though it is notable that they're mentioning Ford first.Unfortunately you see Lightning before you hear Thunder, so sure they canAnd I guess they are saying that can't compete with Chevy? Or that GMC isn't worth mentioning cause they are real? They can't come after you if you aren't already on top #shrugs
I mean when you look all the goofy stuff they put on the TRX; I expect it. I believe someone pointed out that in the Hummer infotainment, you see an image of the hummer going over a Cybertruck. So a cybertruck technically has made it into production.I'm sure as we get closer to the reveals there's going to be some puns sent towards the other EV trucks. I wonder if there will be a game like there was on the Mach-E - "how many Lightning logos can you find on/in the truck?". There are literally dozens of Mustang logos on the Mach-E, plus the (in)famous "Electric Ponies Live Here" easter egg:I mean when you look all the goofy stuff they put on the TRX; I expect it. Ford is always more reserved with that they put out but then when they do more they really go all in.

Chick Hicks called. He wants his line from Cars back.Ram has released a new teaser video for the 1500 EV and according to their tweet they're looking to "steal some thunder". I wonder who that could be referring to lol.
Yep and that's why i don't click on their videos. Ben Hardy just did one like that "this is why the RAM EV is better than the Lightning...." something like that. The grabby headline crap just is too old for me now to even bother wasting my time.I’ve seen a couple YouTubers cover this and the Chevy and they review them like the marketing statements from Ram and Chevy are real world performance. The latest trope is to spotlight TFLs 89 mile tow range test with the Lightning and then talk about how these non existent trucks will go WAY FARTHER. For RAMs claims to be real, they’d need at least a 250KWh Lion battery.
Based on my viewing of TFL videos, they try to manufacture drama and drag out their videos. That TFL towing video was exceptionally poor methodology and logic sprinkled with histrionics and hyperbole.
I’m surprised they don’t put in just a tiny bit more effort to include some easily obtainable technical data into their tests. For less than $50 they can instrument the vehicle with Carscan and a wireless OBD dongle and correlate real world electric demand for different driving conditions. It would be interesting and useful to compare the 80+KW needed to pull a big draggy trailer 70mph on the interstate vs 45KW to pull it 45 mph on back roads.Based on my viewing of TFL videos, they try to manufacture drama and drag out their videos.
