Reservation date 5/19 at 10:47pm. Order date 3/11/2022. Going through dealer. Just got on the Ford vehicle order tracking website and it’s listing a VIN #. Still no window sticker or production info. Guess I’m in waiting game. Any other way I can get updates?

Welcome! I'm guessing you're in the Binghamton area based on your username? I'm located outside of Syracuse but I left the 315 out of my handle. I placed my order on 3/10/22 and am slated for a build week of 7/4/22 (it used to be 7/18, then got moved to 6/20, but recently slid back to 7/4). I'm guessing I'll see mine around Labor day? Anyways, good to see someone else on here who's relatively nearby in the real world.

What up fellow orange blood?! I was a 6/20 build week and slid to 7/4 as well for my 312A XLT. Where is your order at? I am the only early-ish order at Friendly Ford out of Geneva, they dont have any others coming in even close to my timeline. I'm a 5/29 rez, 1/20 order so pretty late in the game as far as Ford preorders are concerned. There really arent a lot of CNY'ers with early orders from what I can tell.

Friendly Ford in Geneva is great! That is who I got my current 2018 F-150 XLT 3.5EB from. I'm working through Romano Ford in Fayetteville as it is a bit closer to home than Geneva is. I bought my current truck from Friendly in Geneva about 16 months ago because they are the ones who had the exact truck I wanted and they were really great to work with. I hope they treat you as well as they did me last year. I'm not sure how you swung a 1/20/22 order with a 5/29/21 reservation but good for you! I'd love to know when yours is coming in... If you end up in front of me in spite of our similar build schedule, I might have to conveniently schedule a wine tour through Geneva and coincidently swing by Friendly Ford while your truck is charging!

Hi there, fellow upstater here. Have either of you been able to test drive a Lightning yet? I was able to a few weeks ago at my dealer in Schenectady. I drove 10 miles and averaged 2.1mi/kw indicated.

Not yet. I haven’t even seen one yet in real life.
I did see a Rivian truck on Sunday parked at a winery along Seneca lake. Guy was from DC. Had it about a month. It looked sharp but is definitely not a full size truck.

I know of 2 dealers in the Capital Region that have demo units, one of which has 2 on hand awaiting delivery. I would expect that most dealers should have a demo unit soon if they don't already.
My dealer called me to schedule a test drive the day they got plates for it. The demo belongs to Ford, not the dealer, so you'll need to sign paperwork and provide proof of insurance in order to drive it.

I haven't test driven one yet but my dealer had a mannequin that they said I could test drive once I had a ship date on mine. My blend date was supposed to be yesterday but I haven't been able to confirm anything the last couple of days. I'm keeping fingers crossed that I'll get confirmation that it is built in the next week or two and have a ship date around the same time. At that point, I'll let you all know what I think about my, as of yet theoretical, test drive I'll be able to take then.

Watch for module activation.
We test drove one in Canandaigua and one at Van Bortal in Perinton. Build week 8/22 getting closer! Biggest concern is the ability to take trips / make sure the charging infrastructure is in place, lots of “holes” for example going south through Binghamton and then PA.
Did you take possession yet? Blend date here 8/28 trying to figure out how long for shipment to dealer in this area. Thanks!
