Looking forward to placing an order for a lightning when the flood gates open up in the next couple of weeks! This will be my first EV, but I've had my heart set on an electric pickup as soon as an affordable one came around. Really looking forward to ditching my ICE.

I put in my reservation on 5/20. I'm hoping to catch an early spot, however I just got an email a few days ago from my dealership saying they were going to start confirming orders/packages on Nov 1. Not much after the Oct 26th date, but it did make me nervous that my dealership is going to be at least a week behind the others. Did anyone else get a similar message?

Thanks a lot for sharing this @AT193! I haven't received an email like that yet but it could mean that the order banks open for dealers on the 26th and that they won't start reaching out to customers until the 1st. I guess we'll have to wait a couple more days to find out. I don't think some dealerships will be behind others for orders.

Greetings all, I have been an EV enthusiast most my life but not of means. So till 2013 did not drive even a hybrid. In 2013 I leased my first Chevy Volt. In 2016 we traded up to the 2017 volt. After that lease expired I was not in position to buy it out. So we let it go. I ended up in a 2009 F150 with 122000 miles. For the mileage it does not look bad But I want an EV, I have wanted a EV truck for a long time And don't understand why they did not do one earlier. It's My opinion that a Truck would be the easiest to build up as a EV as it is box on frame. Ok so nuff said the Lightning is going to be fun.
