The front plate bracket will require drilling. Your dealer can do it, but if you ever want to remove it, you can use these to cover the holes. Kind of pricey, but my dealer didn't listen to me when I requested no front plate bracket, and I can say these look very good with very minimal effort and the paint match is right on.

Enjoy!

Congratulations!

Is that an Antimatter Blue (could be black too, sometimes hard to tell on screens)? That’s what my Lariat will be - going into production next week!
Yes, it is. I was afraid it would be too dark because in some videos it looks black. But no, it is a nice blue. Just a bit darker than navy blue.
You should have order with front license plate bracket - you dealer can get you one.
I have the bracket and my dealer place it in the truck. I just really don't want to make holes in it :( I was hoping there would be some alternative.

It depends. In what state do you live?

You're welcome! I was contemplating ordering one for my DE Surf Fishing tag but not sure how the Lightning would do on sand lol

That's the same color I'm considering. Do you mind sharing another pic that shows the blue-ness?

Also, is that 2023 or 2022? I'm thoroughly frustrated with my dealer not giving me an order. There are a couple around town and it irks me. I suppose they could have used a different dealer.

I will take a picture in the sun tomorrow. That's the 2023 year.

I am not sure it helps at this point for you but I put my order on Ford's website. My dealer only played a role once the car was delivered to them. I also followed all the stages from production to delivery on Ford's website.

I think they thought I was kidding when I asked them not to mount the bracket. I was going to try a clear adhesive caulk. The bracket is big and fits closely to the bumper. If the thing fell off–in my experience it wouldn't–it wouldn't be too hard or costly to replace.

I think Virginia will be among the last to ditch front-plate-of-some-sort requirements because their ALPRs (plate readers) are yielding a lot of stolen vehicles.
