Guess I should get around to fixing and selling this Suburban I was intending to use as my down payment. 😂

Although I suppose I can still put a bit more faith into the Spring '23 date since I have a base XLT on order.

Order date doesnt matter nearly as much as other factors. Its the dealership you went with, their allocation, and where they placed you in line.
This commentary is more applicable to the conversion of reservations to orders. Dealers play no role in production scheduling (once an order is placed and confirmed).

Are you mixing an order for a reservation? I reserved within the first hour and just now got to order last week and am simply basing his time between order and production on when I should start getting the ball rolling on selling this 2500 burb.

At least your dealer gave you a PRO allocation. I didn't even get an invitation to order. My PRO reservation was 5/21/2021. The neighboring city public works department took their PRO delivery 2 weeks ago, so obviously I'm waaaay down the dealer list.
Thanks. Yeah, it's Ford who limits the # of lower trim levels when they open their order banks. I deferred my reservation/order last winter. So, Ford did me a solid by providing me with an early opportunity to order a MY23 Pro. At least initially (Dec. 2021), dealers had some ability to prioritize reservations, allowing themselves and favored fleet customers to get early Pro orders placed. Fast-forward to this summer, and it appears the initial MY23 ordering waves were for folks who deferred ordering in the first half of 2022. So, hopefully you'll get picked up in future order waves. No doubt, we are all anxious for production to pick up . . .
