Sharing my lock hack, these leer locks seize solid in just weeks in our climate so I made this locking system, it can be controlled by remote very easily but I am using magnetic switches through the cap as no one knows its there. Best hack to a leer cap this has been so nice to quickly lock and unlock my cap.

Pretty neat! I was contemplating something similar for the Undercover SE tonneau I had on my Titan XD... traded the truck before I tried it. Nicely done!

Cool! What would the parts list and approximate cost be for a setup like that?

Well the actuators i got on amazon $40 Canadian eh each and the mag switches were $6 each the rest I had like wire and misc. metal parts laying around the shop so total for me was $92

I secured to the T handle screws so as not to drill any new holes in the cap door and also so the security was as strong as the T handles originally were
