Just installed mine!! love it!!

one question though, can it lock halfway up? Sometimes I need to put my fuel jugs in at the back of the truck bed and I would like to lock the cover with it only folded up a little. I don't think the BAK X4s can.

It can only lock in the full down position, and be strapped down when rolled all the way up. BTW I've been loving mine the last few weeks since I got it installed!

More pictures (Flickr album) of my evening installation of the BAK Revolver X4s that might show a couple of different angles and details:

Came out nice in a couple of hours, thanks to a good fit to the Lightning bed with the Bak quality. Nice that Ford has quality control of the bed as well. I will need to add a few photos taken during the day to show it better.

Got it from Amazon for under $1K on a special discount day by RealTrucks. But check the thread reference above for possible retailers that might give an even better deal.

Follow the install directions carefully, it should roll easily and lock nicely. If it looks weird, do not force it, it might be that the wrong size was sent. Quality control vs. keeping costs down. How does a company keep continuity on that with Covid absences, etc.

Update 12-12-22: Moisture does get into the corners and once in the middle of the bed after rains. Not terrible after a heavy rain, but I would rather not invite mold or other gunk under the mat. On mine, there is a 1/8" gap at the tailgate ends and 3/8" gap at the tailgate step area to the 1/2"? rubber seal of the BAK Revolver X4s snap down end piece. I think this is one of the problems that I will try to solve with extra sealing next to the cover seal. The rails get water in them which may run down to the corners? Need warm sunny day to dry out. Anyone else have ideas on sealing better?
Also, the rubber seals at the end of the rails at the tailgate get rubbed by the tailgate closing and fold under. A piece of electrical tape can work, but maybe some superglue will work. The electrical tape is slick so that helps the tailgate to slide by as well, I think.

Next, I will install a Napier Sportz bed tent and see if it fits with the cover rolled up and with all the rails.

Update 12-29-22: added the extra weathersealing under the lip of the cover, Frost King 5/16w x 1/4t rubber tube stick on, that rests ok on the top of the tailgate. Tent fits ok.

I get water leaking in the corners and I seem to have moisture in the middle of the BedRug floor towards the cab. After rain, water is found standing in the support rails for the cover. The rails are open at the ends, so a possible source. But the rubber seals along the top seem pretty good, so how is the water getting into the support rails? Nothing too terrible. Water can pool a little on top of the vinyl cover. Perhaps a small amount seeps through that?

I can see that the gap between the tailgate ends and the bed are very open, so may try to stuff some the air conditioning foam seal that others have used in that gap. As I noted somewhere else, I added a strip of 1/4" foam under the BAK 4Xs cover as the tailgate does not bump up against the 1/2" foam strip provided there.

The tailgate does want to crunch the thin rubber seal at the end corners if the cover is left down, so need to superglue that up. My electrical tape does not stay sticky there. Someone else used silicone lube successfully. Or never close the final lip of the BAK until the tailgate is up.
