Maybe it has something to do with which trucks they're producing at the moment? I'm not sure. If you do go with the 2023 model it's good they won't charge you the price increase from the 2022s.

What's the spec of the Lightning you ordered?

I ordered a lariat smoked quartz metallic with max trailer tow package. Ford isn’t making smoked quartz anymore according to my dealer so they switched my paint to avalanche.

I also ordered lariat smoked quartz with max tow package and received the same text, I spoke with my dealer about the text I received and he told me not to get my hopes up because the same thing happened with the bronco and ford just reduced their msrp by $700. so im assuming that they will reduce the price around $1000 but the msrp increased by $6000. but im hoping they honor the 2022 msrp but not holding my breath

Wow that’s messed up. I think not getting the max tow package is a deal breaker for me I had a mache sold it back to ford after a year good car horrible charging hence I opted for the max tow package on the f150

I was able to keep the max tow package, but they had to remove the hitch with onboard scales
