My Lariat has a max payload of just less than 1,600lbs. I was under the impression it would be 1,800lbs. I have the extended range battery, max tow package, and all terrain tires.

Did some searching and the all terrain tires apparently reduce the payload capacity by ~150lbs, but the math still doesn’t add up. I’m sure this is an easy answer. Thanks for any help.

It's the tires. It is enough that it even changes the 4th character in the VIN.

GVRW 8400 Package on my window sticker. Still seems a low payload number.
