Ford lost my trust when it came to FIFO. two emails that said my place in line was held, then a playbook that described anything but
Maverick moving to FI-FO model. Will they do the same for Lightning?
Saw the following announced from Ford regarding Maverick reservations:
I'm sure that would relieve a lot of pre-order frustration for people. I'm late on the list (reserved Dec 2021, just before reservations closed). So if anything it would screw me, but I'd be fine with that if it makes for a more reasonable system for everyone. Instead of dealer allotments.
I haven't seen anything about the Lightnings moving to this model. Has anyone else?As a result, orders are scheduled in the order in which they are received, regardless of dealer, pending any capacity and commodity limitations.
