The iconic silver with the dark wheels looks great. Much better than I expected. It’s so nice to be in a truck again. I drove it straight from the dealership to the beach with the board in the back. I averaged 2.7 kW per mile on my round-trip to the beach today. It was pretty slow going due to some traffic but still good results.

Is this Monterey Bay somewhere? I am curious how it does with elevation. I am going to be pushing the range with a large elevation gain... (seems like a small but fun day out there ;-). )

Salmon Creek. It was fun. The range was great mostly because there was traffic on the way there and on the way back. If I drive the same hilly route doing about 60 I use 2.3 kW.

I got the spray in bed liner from Ford. It looks good to me.

If my Model 3 did OK with boards inside of it and trips to the beach multiple times a week for three years I’m sure a Lightning with or without a bedliner will be fine. 😎🤙
