Did a 300 mile trip (600 miles out & back)a couple weeks ago, so had my first chance to use High speed DC Charging. All the stops were Electrify America, and worked OK. What I found was that the 150kW chargers seem to limit at about 133 kW charge rate. I thought this was OK because apx 133 seems to be the bulk charge rate. HOWEVER, I did try out some unoccupied 350kW chargers, and discovered that the first 5-8 minutes the SR battery would take a 145+ kW rate. One time it even hit 153 kW for the first 5 minutes! It was 90 degrees, and the AC fans were going full bore, but I thought it was great to hit that charge rate! I was wondering:
1. For others with SR battery, what has been your charge experience? Max charge, bulk charge rates?
2. With 1400 miles on the Lightning, mix of local and one trip (averaging 70 mph), I am at 2.4 mi/kWh. what are you averaging?
3. I have tried altering the tire pressure a small amount, going up to 41 psi, which does not seem to have any noticeable effect on drive. Do you feel that is helping mileage?
4. Has anyone added a Tonneau and if so, do you have any noticeable changes to mileage?

1,2: Charge experience: in over 2,200 miles over several weeks, and with partly towing my 3klb camper, the average is 2.5m/kw... mostly to N Georgia Mountains from west Central Georgia flat lands...500' elevation to 2,000' elevation. CHARGEPOINT is the go-to chargers in rural Georgia - but with speeds of only 'up to' 62.5kw - but they are dependable. The only EA charger row I used, in Kennesaw GA, was woefully inept. 10 units with only ONE working, and only ONE of it's two cables, on a 350kw unit. It DID get me my highest speeds yets, up to 132kw, tho. Without dependability, though, I won't be using EA unless there are just no other options. Most ALL of my travel miles have been with ProPower working 24/7. Even without the camper, I have my mini-fridge 120v compressor unit behind the driver seat, and have iphone and laptop charging and a fan during overnights.

3,4: haven't changed any PSI, and while I have a ExtangEncore tri-fold tonno, which is an excellent option for this truck(the front 1/3 folds on it's own, and locks), I've not traveled without it. I would not suspect that having a tonno of any sort makes enough impact to warrant buying one, if you aren't already.

Here are some photos of a charge session - I stand corrected in that the SR battery was not at 153 kW, it was at 158! At 4 minutes it dropped to 144 kW, and at 8 it dropped to 133 and held till 80%. So it seems an SR battery CAN benefit from use of a 350 kW charger, at least for the first 8-10 minutes. I also wonder if part of my charge speed is due to having the towing package, which adds a 2nd cooling loop into the system, thus perhaps allowing better thermal management of the battery. Thoughts? Again, this is focused on us poor SR battery equipped folks! ;-)

I took delivery on 1/5/2023 and as of today, I have 750 miles on it. I reset Trip 2 when I took delivery and over that time I'm averaging 2.0 miles per KW. Temps have been in the low 20's to upper 50's. I'm finding range really starts to drop under 35 degrees F.
