This manual is still not available, but I just see in a FB group that the manual is available in the Ford Pass app. So check it out there if interested. Go to the Service Tab, then Reference Guide, then Owner's Manual and last select the Owners Manual with a date of 5/4/22.

Will have some light reading to do tonight.

My Lariat ER didn’t come with a printed manual. It only came with a printed “supplementary” manual and some other leaflets like Sirius XM. But no fat book.
According to dealer this is intententional, and the manual is available on the infotainment screen.

Is it true that we aren’t getting printed manuals?

With tech gadgets I never use a manual - however, in case of a car, if you get stuck on the side of the road and need to locate recovery points, towing info, or fuse locations I think it‘s a bad idea to rely on the very thing that could break.

Yep, I was told the same thing. Downloaded it to my phone for exactly those reasons.

Seriously, no printed manual? I hate, hate, hate trying to read that kind of stuff on my phone.
This manual is a nightmare to start with - your phone won't be what makes it bad, it is just bad. They have instructions for both size screens and sometimes they cover the smaller screen first and sometimes they cover the bigger screen first, but that is just the beginning. It saves a ton of paper not printing and as noted, it is accessible on the truck screen.

The move away from paper for common sense like this things dives me nuts. I get it for many items but not a car truck owners manual! Businesses all claim it is for the environment when in reality they are cheap.

Drives me nuts! /end rant

Two weeks ago I ordered an Owners Manual from Helm for $35 plus shipping -- which was purported to be a paper manual. But what showed up in the mail was the Quick Reference Guide, the Supplemental Owners Manual, etc. -- the small pamphlets that came in the glove box when I purchased the truck. I immediately phoned Helm who took about 24 hours to research the problem and came back to me stating that just last week Ford Motor Company announced to Helm that no paper Owners Manual would be made available for the Lightning. To their credit, Helm issued me a complete refund, including the shipping charges, and told me to keep the stuff they had sent to me.

Soooo, I will print myself a paper copy of the Manual (all 657 pages!) on my office printer which is high speed and will handle double sided printing.

But the lesson here for others is DO NOT bother ordering an Owners Manual from Helms. You WILL be disappointed.
