Two of us are planning to meet at the Scott's Valley Tesla Supercharger station on Thursday, March 2nd a bit before 3:30. If any other Lightning drivers want to meet up and test one of the first Tesla Magic Docks in the country with your Lightning, come join us.

I think we'll wander over to the nearby Faultline Brewing Company after that. Reply here if you are interested.

We'll post on how it goes after we try the Magic Docks.

Just for info -- YouTube channel "State of Charge" posted a good video on Wednesday (1 March 2023) on the implementation of Tesla's "supercharger" capability. The only problem encountered was the length of the charger cable (too short). Even with his Lightning pulled as close to the charging station as possible, the charging cable barely connected to the Lightning's charging port.

Fortunately we didn't have to contend with snow at the CA site we were at. Some "stalls" worked fine because the charger was oriented sideways. Others worked by parking in an adjacent non-charging parking place. It would definitely work better if they added a couple of feet to the cable.

Yup, I had the same issue yesterday in Scotts Valley. My bumper was nearly kissing the Tesla charge stand and I had barely enough cable length.
there was one charger at the end that was in the middle on left hand (forward facing truck) side. That would have been more ideal for me. But, yeah, only the one in that config.
