With the cost of cobalt and lithium dropping in a major way, battery prices declining and Tesla dropping prices on its vehicles by $29000, when is Ford going to get with the program and drop the cost of a mid range f150 Lariat with the extended range battery back below the eighty thousand dollars price point so we can qualify for the energy tax credit?

Ford isn't nimble enough and they would never think of their customers, they will just continue to give it to you without lube and take profit to the bottom line.

You must have missed it but Tesla raised their prices again — shortly after the big drop.

Prices went back up on the Y, because they sold out the quarter's production. Now they are experimenting with price drops on S & X's.

All I have to say about Tesla jerking around with these prices drops is the people who bought a Tesla in December a the higher prices must be pretty upset. I had ordered a Model Y in March last year for delivery in October. My wife's car was coming off lease in November. Every month Tesla kept moving the delivery date back. In July, it was showing delivery in February 2023 so I cancelled the order and switched to a BMW i4 which was delivered in November. Then Tesla delivered all the cars in December and substantially lowered the prices in January. Glad I cancelled the order when I did. That's just a terrible business model and I would never buy a car from Tesla after seeing all this.

But they are still cheaper than what they were back in december
At the moment. Tesla changes prices up and down at the drop of a hat. Can you imagine the screaming of Ford did that?
