I see this thread didn’t start an actual discussion, but I for one would really like to know what the exact cause was and if my truck potentially has the problem. Initially Ford said it was limited to trucks in production but now admit to recalling 18 trucks delivered. By now there have got to be a lot of people who know the root cause. Did they all sign NDAs? Even the White House has leaks. I give Ford credit for keeping a secret, but wouldn’t their long term reputation be better if they were transparent about this?
