Anyone know if the Lariat trim gets the lay flat seats? I thought I saw a reviewer allude to it, but didn’t see it in the build sheet or anything.

No, only the Platinum.

Lariat and platinum lays back same way. Only difference platimun middle raise little bit once all the way down to make flat.

Does anyone with a Platinum order have Lay Flat show up in their data print out from the order page (where you could first get your VIN)? I just did some searches in mine and don't see it.

Can someone explain the appeal of lay-flat seats? I haven't had the opportunity to sit in them myself. Aren't your lower legs still hanging off the end of the seat? If they had an extendable foot rest like the Ioniq 5 it would make sense, but I'm not understanding why people go ga-ga over them in the F150.

I mentioned in another thread that I got to sit in one at a show Ford does in PA over the weekend. There was one thing that I was surprised by and maybe this is just because I'm not use to the truck interior. But I was impressed by the detail and touch of the materials. It isn't a luxury vehicle level but it was nice. Nicer than my premium spec mustang and I would say better than the Mach E. I sat in a Lariat and now that I'm looking at some pictures of a gas powered Platinum, the textures on the door are the same I saw in the Lariat (other than the seats of course).

This picture in particular, looks exactly like what I saw this weekend in a Lariat

I don't think that is real wood but it looks nice. Looking at one of my pictures, the door looks the same. So the interior difference between those 2 spaces (maybe even the XLT) is just the seats.

When I sat in my dealer’s demo Lariat I laid the two seats back as flat as they would go. It was pretty flat, I’d say it went all the way down to the 5-10% angle or so.
