Finally found what I wanted in a used 2022 while I’ve been waiting for my order to get a build date.

Lariat ER 2022 with 1100 miles. Built July 20,2022 and sold back to dealer in October. Price on windshield from pictures showed 105k! They have since been marking down repeatedly, unable to sell, and it’s now only $1000 over sticker.

Does not come with charge station pro sadly.
What concerns should I have? PaaK should be updated on it correct? Will I need to buy the charge station pro for $1300 or will the $800 smaller station work ok? Will be overnight charging only. Or will the portable suffice long term on a 240v outlet?
Wanted a 2023 but saving nearly $10k and not waiting 4-6 months is making this hard to pass up.

Pro: That 2022 Lariat ER should have all the features that were later removed due to chip shortages.

Con: No charge station pro or tax rebate

As far as what charger to use, it really depends on how far you drive in a day. You only need a charger as fast as you need to replace normal driving overnight. Most people don't need an 80A charger that requires a 100A dedicated circuit.

That CSP is worth about $1,000. I might offer $1,000 UNDER sticker. I bought a '22 Lariat ER mannequin at sticker. 4,000 miles, paid sticker, and since it was never titled I get the tax credit AND I got the CSP.

BTW . . . all ER Lightnings are supposed to get the CSP. Did the dealer get it? Or can you still possibly get it from SunRun once the dealer lists it with Ford as sold with you as the buyer? The dealer may be clueless on this.

I just bought my 23 Lariat new off the dealer lot from an order someone bailed on for MSRP. Like others have said, that charger is worth a grand. I’d offer at least $1000 under MSRP. Good news is the chargers seem plentiful online. Just getting SunRun to give you the one you already bought is the harder part :)

For some of your other questions:
No guarantee on PAAK, but should be able to figure that out fairly quickly. I know there are a few folks that don't yet have that with similar build dates.
Charge Station: I'd look elsewhere. There are several good ones out there in the 400-500 dollar range that will work just fine for you, some of which come ready to plug into a 14-50 outlet. That would allow you to keep the mobile in the vehicle, I don't know that it will hold up all that well to daily use.
Other than that I wouldn't hesitate to pick it up, although you might badger them to split the difference on the rebate and sell it to you for MSRP - $3750.

They said they didn’t get the Charge station when the owner sold it back to them (I don’t even think the seller had got it from sun run yet) so nothing they can do they say…I’ll look at those $500 options. Don’t need much faster then with a 240v in Mobil but would like something more permanent for the house and keep that in the truck.
They are shipping it to my local dealer Monday to see/buy. Will inspect and see if I can get some more off but I haven’t seen any ER lariat for close to this price so even if not I think it’s a good deal.

Now what to do with my reservation? Order was submitted last week but still no build date yet.

Same dealer? Use it as leverage to get price down.

I have not hooked up the CSP . . . Yet. I use a Grizzl E 40 amp charger plugged into a NEMA 14-50 outlet.

The one benefit of the FCSP is the ability to charge at 80 amps if the proper wiring is installed. If you are sure you'll never install a 100 amp circuit I suggest something else.

A feature I'd be interested in if I were in the market is an app with good energy use insight. The FCSP app is pretty bare and in my experience the energy tracking is just wrong.

As for the truck, a 2022 ER near sticker is a good deal. Maybe you could find a new 2022 ER that still qualifies for the tax break but those are unicorns at this point for obvious reasons. If you like the truck and are comfortable with the price I say go for it.

Have you driven a Lightning? I was on the fence and leaning toward not buying until I drove one. It's a sporty luxury sedan with the utility of a truck. It's basically an E Class with a bed.😉

Yeah driving is about 80 miles day, I'm thinking the mobile with a 240v installed should work just fine.

Don't qualify for rebate anyway so that's no biggy.
I drive a little over 70 miles one way on the interstate to work each day. I'm just using the mobile charger for now until I get the CSP hooked up. I haven't had any issues with it in the past few weeks. I usually plug in by 7 at night and it's back up to 90% in the morning, which is where I have it set to shut off.

Yeah drove an XLT after my order window opened. Guy let me take it alone which was awesome. Definite old me on it. I’ve never had a truck and didn’t realize how much space there is inside and how luxurious it did feel. Then that acceleration was an amazing feeling.

Update! Bought the truck yesterday. They ended up finding me a Ford Connected Charge station to give me which is great. I couldn’t get enough juice to my detached garage for the Pro model anyway.
Software still seems outdated but hopefully in coming days it’ll catch back up since it sat on a lot for 3 months. (I did find out the dealer bought this back for 92k! 11k over sticker and tried to resell for 205k, they lost $10k on it)

Prices are not going up...they will continue to come down.

Just bought a 'Courtesy Vehicle' '22 Lariat ER myself, and the only thing that I wasn't in love with is the fact the warranty is now ~8 months in, even though it was sold as new. Used a recommendation from elsewhere on the forum to buy the Electric Premium CARE ESP for <$1000 and now I seem to be all set. Might want to check out the same thing for your used one before it hits 36k miles for some added peace of mind.
