Dealer is having professional pictures taken for the website. They also wanted to keep it for a few days so people could look at it!

Yep - nice color choice.

I am struggling with the "dealer wants to keep it for others to look at". Just look at or drive? I have a thing with others driving what I'm paying $80K to be new. No one likely wants to damage, but accidents happen way to easy. I don't think I can leave mine. I want to pick it up the day it comes off the truck.

I just want to point out that the rims and the carbonized gray match almost exactly. It looks great
Wow, my #2 color choice looks like it should have been #1!
I love those "black" seats. The fact they're not black is the best news I've seen confirmed yet. I can't wait to get out of the black hole I drive in now.

umm... Is it just me, or are the seats a really light grey? My lariat order offered no options for any color interior but black (which I was fine with), but the pics look like really light grey seats with maybe black side bolsters.

I order the same hoping that would be the case. Thanks for confirming. Was the charge station pro in the vehicle when you saw it?
I will get back with you on that. They are still prepping the truck. They are having professional pics taken of it for the site so I'm sure I'll have some much better photos to share with you soon.

Just to look at. I have triple confirmed with them that no one will be driving it ever except for moving it on site and me.

You are correct. I was also pleasantly surprised by the coloration but i was expecting it to be much much darker.

Yeah, I really do dig 2-tone interiors. Buuuuut when the interior is listed and SHOWN in all black (or perhaps an ever so slight variation) when ordered, and you get delivered a car with light grey seats....you question some things.

I suppose this is to be expected. the renderings of the carbonized grey online are terribly dark, while the actual color is much lighter and imho, better.

With my luck lately, Atlas Blue will be the only Lariat color that comes with black on black on black interior.

Have you all noticed gray interiors are coming back? They were very popular between 2000-2005 and then all of a sudden they vanished. Now we are seeing new cars with gray interiors again. I personally prefer black or beige, or at least would like the choice for something other than gray, but no options on this truck…

I paid extra for white in my Model 3 and love it. It works there and really pops. Otherwise I prefer black and that is what Ford had advertised at all times for the Lariat. Give us black or at least an update on what is going on. I don't want "dirty" looking off colors.

I agree. I wanted black interior not gray vinyl looking leather.

Congratulations. I don’t have the self-control you do I would want to take it home ASAP.
I am glad the interior is gray. My only regret is ordering a silver exterior to compensate for what I thought was going to be a hot black interior.

Congrats on the Lightning @jbrams_tank!

What were your initial impressions seeing it for the first time? Thoughts on build quality?

Would love if you could do a review of it after taking delivery and putting enough miles on!
It just looks tough. I was skeptical about the light bar but it actually does look really tough all around. The frunk seems a touch smaller than I thought it would be but not by much. I really hope that everyone that ordered it got the spray in bed liner. It looks sooooo good in person.

the interior is super roomy and the fit an finish is actually nicer than I expected.

once the professional pics are taken I’ll post those!
