I saw on the news the other day that the U.S. Senate Finance Committee advanced legislation would boost the electric vehicle tax credits to as much as $12,500 for EVs that are assembled by union workers in the United States.

It's the $7,500 tax credit plus $2,500 for vehicles assembled in the United States and another $2,500 for cars at facilities whose production workers are members of, or represented by, a labor union.

The catch is that the tax credit will apply to vehicles with a retail price below $80,000.

So that means that depending on which F-150 you order, it should qualify for the full money right? because the Lightning is being built in Michigan and by union workers.

If approved in its current form, this should apply to all models except the Platinum or the Lariat+Premium with lots of added goodies.
