Hi, I just picked up my Lightning two weeks ago. I’m on the fence, most of me wants to sell it but then I drive it and it’s so smooth and I drive past gas stations with a big smile on my face. I also don’t know how to go about selling it either.

If you did not want/need it, why did you buy it? This is not a vehicle that is easy to "accidentally" buy.

I was on the same boat. While it wasn’t easy to “accidentally buy”, it also wasn’t easy to learn all about it before the purchase. I couldn’t test drive it before buying. My dealer was more than 100 miles away and only allowed test drives on weekdays. The closest dealer to me had one but didn’t allow test drives and it was the Pro model (I ordered a Lariat). So everything I knew about it were based on YouTube videos and forums like these.
So, yeah. I wasn’t sure about it when I picked it up 3 weeks ago. Still not sure now if I’ll be keeping it. I haven’t taken it on a trip so I don’t know first hand how stressful it is to worry about the range or charge stations (it’s my first EV), or just the fact that I’m driving a brand new truck through gravel and forest service roads. If I don’t end up keeping it, I figure I’d trade it in for a used PowerBoost.

What color and and trim is it? What was the sticker price? Where part of the country are you from?

I thought it sounded cool and I like the idea of all electric and I like Ford. I’ve only ever driven used trucks for under $28K. As it turns out, I’d rather drive my old truck. Hard to rationalize an $83K truck when I like the $28K ones just fine.
