Ford just posted the map yesterday at https://www.ford.com/technology/bluecruise

It will calculate the % of roads with BlueCruise Hands Free. This works for long trips and short trips:

Here's a long one, showing the section in FL where there is no BCHF:

The map shows those "sharp curves" where BCHF cuts out:

It also shows those sections where BCHF blinks out going through EZPass toll readers:

The Next Generation is Here
Available on select 2023 Ford vehicles, Ford BlueCruise 1.2 gives you all the current features — and a few new ones.
Is there a way of telling whether 2022 Lightnings have updated to BC H-F version 1.2? I would especially like to have the In-Lane Repositioning feature.

BC 1.2 is supposed to start with 2023 models. Not sure if the new 2023 Lightnings have it though.

From Sept. 2022:
Ford states that BlueCruise 1.2 will roll out in 2023 Mustang Mach-Es directly off the assembly line, but any previous owners of other Ford vehicles (2022 Mach-E owners included), are going to have to wait.
We asked Ford if any other vehicles would be able to access the latest BlueCruise features via an OTA update, and we were told not yet. A Ford representative said the company will share more information about Ford Power-Up and Lincoln Enhance software updates at a later date.

Can't wait to see it roll out to 2022 Lightnings. It will be awesome to see Ford continue to develop their BlueCruise system into something that will eventually surpass/compete with Telsa FSD.
Unless it requires hardware or sensors we don't have I can't imagine it won't be backward compatible. If it is and they deliver to prior model years this will be a huge step for Ford, offering an existing customer an enhancement they didn't have (or were already promised) when they bought their auto.

Totally agree. It would be a huge step for Ford and would be the next step towards similarity with Tesla and the smartphone market by providing op systems upgrades and improvements.
