I wanted floor mats and a bug deflector for the hood. I called the nearest Ford dealer for the parts. They arrived a couple weeks later for pickup. I unboxed them both to find out they aren't the right parts. They sold me the parts that are currently listed on the Ford accessories website.

The issue with the floor mats is that they're not the right size to accommodate the rear seat gear box. The issue with the bug deflector is that it's for a standard hood instead of the frunk hood. They're trying to locate the correct parts for me to swap them out.

Just wanted others to know in case you also want rubber mats and a bug deflector. Ford's system needs an update for the Lightning still. You might not get what you are after.

The F-150 floor mats come in two models: with and without gear box. Your dealer ordered the wrong one. Their system allows them to enter your VIN and it will identify the right parts. They probably didn't use it.

Ditto on the bug deflector. Sounds like someone in your dealer's parts department needs more training.

My dealer ordered the wrong floor mats for me as well. The description on Ford's website even with a VIN# is not descriptive. They finally figured out that this part number was correct ML3Z1613300BA.

Thanks for the replies. I managed to get the correct floormats. The bug deflector appears to be a different story. I was told that none exist for my model truck at this time.

Makes sense. They usually clip onto the leading edge of the hood and there isn't one.

I agree, it makes sense. But I still want a bug deflector! Maybe someone will come out with one soon.
