In Wave 4, I ordered last week, is there any chance we will take delivery before Dec 31?

I'm in wave 4, I ordered last week. My question: is there any chance we will take delivery before Dec 31? First time ordering a Ford. I saw the bar chart that said Wave 4 would be in Feb 2023. Just wondering if they ever "exceed" expecations especially with the option deletes like smart scales and heated wheel to I assume streamline build/delivery?

I would say if you get a build date early Nov then MAYBE...
I am a wave 3, ordered 8/25 and blended on 10/22. I am expecting my truck sometime between Thanksgiving and Christmas baring any shipment or module delays.

The delivery sheet is tracking about 6 months from order date to delivery, so I would guess no.

I ordered XLT on day 1 of wave 3 and have a build week of 11/29, so not all Lariats...

It depends on where you live…convoy is more likely than train. I am hoping between Thanksgiving and Christmas- based on 10/21 blend date(delayed currently waiting on chips(?!?!?).. and hoping to have a built date soon and shipped date shortly there after.

im convoy, based on window sticker and discussions with dealer came up with days above.

I ordered an XLT in wave 2 on 8/25, called Ford today since I didn’t have a build date and coke to find out since I didn’t check the smart hitch removal option it was holding until it became available. Ford and my dealer both said they have no idea when the smart scale and smart hitch option will be available again and advised to edit my order to remove it to get a build out date scheduled

if you take delivery by Dec 31, 2022 you qualify for the $7500 credit. You must have at least $7500 in tax liability remaining after other deductions to get that much money back when you file your 2022 taxes.

I am in the same boat as EVFan. What if delivery is after 12/31/22? I assume we lose the tax credit?

You loose the tax credit if your vehicle price is greater then $80k after Jan 1, 2023. So if you have a SR pack Lariat or XLT or Pro that is under 80k you can still qualify in 2023. I have a Lariat ER on order at 90k - oh well - at the end of the day tax credit didn't cause me to buy.
