The power company up here has a program for EV owners, where you get a lower rate from 11pm to 7am. I happen to have solar panels, so that keeps my daytime usage pretty low, and the night time rate is so cheap... I'm paying less than I did before I got the truck.
When you do the math... and the hundreds of dollars a month a regular CAR, much less a TRUCK would cost in gas.... it's bananas. It was good news to see today.
