Does anyone know how "locked-in" this reservation is? Meaning... Now I may not be able to quality for the loan. My business has taken it's toll on my credit & bank account. BUT my wife however is thriving, she has a great career and has stellar credit. Could she step in and buy the truck? In place for me?

Would like to hear from anyone that has had similar experience please.

Why wouldn't your wife be able to fund the vehicle? Money is green and the dealership shouldn't have anything to do with it unless you planned to finance through Ford - which I'm sure is a premium on top of already high rates.

Just get the preapproval a few days out or before heading over and you should be all squared away.
