So glad I found this forum from frustration, many more questions then knowing Whats going on. Retired.. working stiff .. always drove beater trucks. Little knowledge about buying a new car in this modern age. A few years ago we did buy a new Ford focus electric and we love it. First of all it feels like a car not a space ship, I’ve only opened the hood 3 times ( to show friends) its great with zero issues.
When Ford announced the Lightning I was excited because we could get rid of one of the cars because the f150 will cover so many bases. Because we recently moved to southern Oregon I thought great I’ll get the reservation made for local dealer Mock Ford. Well they now say they get 10 k over what I order. Hance my frustration. After reviewing info on this site I see I will have a much better chance by heading down the road a bit to Creater Lake Ford, so soon I will attempt to change my dealer setting to Creater lk.

Hey, Southern Oregon as well, I have lived here 40+ years... NEVER go to Mock for ANYTHING! The worst dealer I have ever delt with... hands down (don't even get your Ford serviced there).

If you are fairly high on Mock's priority list, you might want to leave the reservation where it is, then move to a new dealer when you receive the invitation to convert to an order. If you move to a new dealer, you will probably be added to the end of their list.

Good investigation to do, how do I know, find out my place at a dealer thats not been helpful? Or is it even possible?
I went and visited Crater lake Ford in Medford Or. and they have a Lightning in the show room! I got to see one, touch it, sit in it and the sales man Nic was great to us giving us a full tour of the truck.

The only way to find out where you stand on their list is to have someone at the dealership tell you.
