I was talking with the guys at the dealership. The saleman and sales manager both told me they were excited to see all of the stuff as well and wanted to make sure id let them test drive mine when it came in. They said I was the only reservation at their dealership so they were hoping I would be accommodating for their sales staff. Good group of guys, most of them in their late 40s to mid 50s. Genuinely seemed excited to see the new truck as well. Seems I have more info from this forum and the Reddit thread than they are getting from Ford.

My dealership had around 11 including mine, one was two for the same person. The contact at the dealership is the owner of the dealership. According to him he handled all of the Bronco stuff and decided it would be best to continue. Has received no indication that the banks are opening. When he receives info from Ford he drafts his own email to customers. I was originally using a much larger “franchise” but was driving by this one and though they probably have far less orders. I didn’t get a good vibe from the initial dealer.

I am going all out on the Platinum. I am not going to get the optional auto running boards though as i live in upstate NY. with all the snow and ice we get, my luck they will freeze up. I will add the fold down seats just in case the woman kicks me out when she looks at the invoice. LOL

Ya know, admittedly a newbie but as Big Daddy said in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof: ."“What's that smell in this room? Didn't you notice it, Brick? Possibly, but it’s still just a pick up truck, and one that 1/2 of Americans really can’t use due to milage limitations or no where to plug in. Throw in Chevy and Rivian nipping at their heels….

Over 150 reservations at my dealership in Tulsa, OK as of a few weeks ago. They had not heard about the potential October 26th date but seem to be a relatively big dealership by volume.

Ahh my fault I read that as mediocrity in the room not mendacity.
Yeah to that end that’s exactly why I switched to the dealership I did. I wanted to avoid the big dealerships that could be less honest. But I don’t think this is a time where dealerships or Ford can afford to play a lot of games. Try to charge me 5k extra and I’ll be getting the Silverado in 22

Part of the reason that trucks have become so wildly popular is s. 179 of the IRC which says that vehicles over that weight are 100% deductible in the year they're bought. Ergo, so many doctors and lawyers wives doing their offroading in their Suburbans and Expeditions by taking right turns too tight. Pickups too...less tools more golf clubs 🤪
