How Long to get Production date after Dealer Accepts Order

Not sure of others experience but here is mine:
I put the 100$ deposit on the reservation on June 8th 2021
Ordered Lariat Standard Range 4/13/22
Dealer Accepted order 4/15/22
Got an email on 6/10/22 saying my lightning was scheduled for production and was being built the week of 7/11/22
Got an email on 8/4/22 saying the lightning was built
Got an email on 8/5/22 saying the lightning was on its way
Dealer called 8/16/22 at 5pm saying the truck just pulled in
I drove the hour and picked it up at 6pm on 8/16/22

Glad to see you didn't get caught up in the chip shortage. Some orders are delayed weeks because of it.

Wow, I put in my deposit within a few days of it opening in May, but I’m still waiting for an invite to order. Super jealous. Congrats!!

Is that when it opened, in may? I thought I was quick to put my name in but maybe not. Wonder what other factors played a role. I did choose a ford dealer that was an hour away and busier than the two closer to me, maybe that plays a bigger role than I thought.

2023 production dates are starting to be assigned now. There’sa thread on that.
A little advice please. I made my reservation 5/20/21. Other than one email from Ford asking which model I choose and asking if I am going to trade in another vehicle, have not heard a thing. I go to Ford.com, login, see my reservation, but crickets. Did I miss a step somewhere?

Nope. You are waiting for an invitation to convert your reservation to an order like thousands of others. There were about 45,000 reservations made in the first 48 hours.

You can reach out to your dealer to see where you are on their list and how many of their reservation holders have received invitations so far.
I wasn't able to locate the thread (rather google shows many results from this forum). Could you link the one you are refering to?

MY23 Production Dates Are Populating
I'm intrigued that there doesn't seem to be much reporting on Ford confirming production dates for MY23 builds. They are on the way! And they aren't all platinums/lariats. My pro is scheduled to start 10/24.
