I understand that I'm able to use the Smart Vincent to check what Ford's interest rates were at the time of my order and use them if I want. With today's interest rates I'm positive they were lower in August of this year.
The thing is how can I see what they were? Am I at the mercy of trusting my dealers finance department to tell me? Any advice would be much appreciated. My Antimatter Blue Pro is in transit and supposed to be here later this week....

It doesn't matter what interest rates were when you ordered, financing is determined by rates at the time of purchase. Only the prices are set at ordering.

edit: later information showed I was wrong on this and Ford saves rates at the time of order and makes them available to the buyer.

According to Tim Bartz the Smart Vincent can be pulled to show what the interest rates were at the time of ordering and you have a choice to use them OR current rates. It'll show protection date (order date). The one I'm showing is from his You Tube channel.

Your dealer will have to pull that Smart Vincent report.

ford rates are insane for this truck. I got a deal from a local credit union that was 3-4% cheaper. Please check with one before you go the dealer.

Agreed. Back in June I got much better rates from my Credit Union than Ford could give me.

Not true. Any promotional rates are also stored in smart Vincent but I do doubt there were any promotional rates tied to the Lightning regardless of when it was ordered. Sorry I missed you correction
