This just showed up on the ICE F-150s. Hopefully Ford is saving all the heating systems for our Lightnings.

Last time I checked, the Lightning is a 2023 F150.

But maybe, and since I assume Ford knows that will eliminate the ranging saving we were getting my using that to warm our hands instead of running the heater, you are right.

But my intuition is that Ford cancelled the orders from their supplier for the entire year, not carving out enough for our F150s.

The $140 and $45 credits seem obnoxiously small. I have to believe that those options as individual add-ons would be much more expensive.
I agree the amount of credit is pitiful for these options. I myself don't see how a key feature like this would be removed. I am thankful I got mine in 2 weeks ago with all of it's listed features!!

Ugg - this is not getting enough attention. If this comes to the lightning this would be the single biggest thing that would reduce demand hands down. Forget price hikes, not having critical features that have been standard since the 90's is a giant step back.

Can anyone say if the seat and wheel heaters can be activated after delivery? Ie, is the shortage with the physical heating components or the IC modules that control them?

Losing heated seats and wheel is heading into deal breaker territory for me. In winter I ski a couple of days a week and the heated seats and wheel are a lifesaver in my Silverado on the way home after a cold day, because the motor can't generate much heat on the 4500 ft descent back to town. I know very well already how useful it is to have quick heat from the resistance coils in seat and wheel.

Is this for sure. Can someone confirm this. My dealer has not contacted me on this. I have a lariat ER with a build date on the 24th of this month. Again, this could be a deal changer for Canadian winters.

as long as it has the heated seats im good. blend date is 10/26....

im also noticing that it may have the removed heated side mirrors? if you compare the 2022 window stickers with the new 2023 window stickers they no longer list that they are heated... pretty dam stupid and honestly a safety issue in states that actually have winter...

looks like the smart hitch removal also removes the trailer brake controller? if so thats a huge bummer and actually extremely annoying.
